Moak, Polido, and Schappacher earn Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Wings on Brookwood.
Clint Moak, Junior (Baseball)
- In Hamilton's 1-0 victory over Ross in the Sectional Tournament, Clint threw a complete game with 11 strikeouts.
Emili Schappacher, Freshman (Softball)
- Emily finished the year with a 16-6 record as a pitcher with 171 strikeouts. In the tournament, she was in the circle for wins against Talawanda 9-1, Kings 5-4 and an 8 inning 0-1 loss in the district title game to Lebanon. She also batted .424 on the season with a team high 3 home runs.
Katelyn Polido, Senior (Softball)
- Katelyn batted .585 for the year with a three year combined average of .521. Katelyn struck out just once this year, and 5 times in her career spanning 265 at bats against some of the finest pitching in the state. Katelyn ended her amazing career with a 25 game hit streak.
