Congratulations to our Wings on Brookwood Student Athletes of the week. 

NATHAN BRANDENBURG – Nathan, a senior on the golf team,  helped lead the Big Blue to a 6th place finish in the GMC tourney this week. He posted a score good enough to make 2nd team All League. He has been very consistent all season with an average of 42 in all matches. Nathan put in a great deal of time this summer and it has really paid off for himself and the team

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

XAVIER SILVA  – Xavier, a 4 year member of the boys soccer team, has worked extremely hard over the last few weeks. That hard work paid off this past week notching 2 assists against Mount Healthy on Tuesday and a goal and an assist against conference rival Middletown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ANDRE BAILEY –  Andre, a senior on the football team, is currently second in rushing in the GMC with 408 yards. He rushed for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns versus Sycamore. He has 4 TD’s on the season. Andre averages 6 yards per carry. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season will bring. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ABBY GOMEZ  – Abby, a senior on the cross country team,led the Big Blue Girls Cross Country team this past weekend at the Mason Invite.  Abby was able to PR with a time of 27:11.  She beat her previous PR of 28:20 by over a minute that she earned at her last cross country meet last year at Districts.  This PR gives Abby the 26th fastest female Hamilton 5K time.  She also joins the 27 minute 5K club for the girls team.
